Organizing the ALDES Virtual Event

Goals:

  • To invite specialized press targeted at the construction, remodeling, climate control, and ventilation sectors, installers, and decorators to the virtual event where ALDES was to present its key novelties for 2021, their study on “Indoor Air Quality” and their new website for Spain.

Actions:

  • Organizing the technical solution.
  • Contacting media outlets specialized in the various sectors and sending them the invitation to attend ALDES’ virtual presentation.
  • Personalized follow-up of participants in the event.
  • Preparing press kits and visual presentations as attachments on the virtual event’s website.
  • Live streaming of the event.
  • Fielding the questions asked by journalists who attended virtually and helping the media with their queries and doubts.

Results:

  • The presentation of ALDES’ new products was more appropriate given the situation with COVID-19. It was innovative and entertaining, and more convenient for journalists, who did not have to travel to the event and were able to participate from wherever they wanted.
  • Strong engagement from attendees as far as asking questions.
  • High visibility and ample media coverage.
